Privacy on Success Tutoring Quizzes

This site is designed for children, so we collect as little as possible. This notice covers quiz.successtutoring.com: the free quizzes and the 6-Week NAPLAN Challenge enquiry form. It will be updated before student accounts are introduced.

Free quizzes: no account, no personal information

• You do not need to sign up, and we never ask a student for their name, email, age, school or location to take a free quiz.
• Answers are sent to our server only to be marked, and are not stored against any person.
• Stars, badges, streaks and unfinished quizzes are saved only in your own browser (local storage). Clearing your browser data removes them. We cannot see them.

Anonymous usage statistics

We count events such as “a quiz was started” or “a quiz was completed (score band 70–89%)” together with the page, the visitor's country (from the network, not stored per person) and the general type of referring site (for example “search engine”). These events contain no names, no free-text answers and no persistent identifiers, and are used only to improve our content.

Cookies

We set one functional cookie, st_country, when you choose a country, so we can suggest it next time. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not show behavioural advertising to children.

No public profiles or leaderboards

There are no public profiles, no student-to-student messaging and no public rankings.

6-Week NAPLAN Challenge enquiries

If a parent or guardian asks about the 6-Week NAPLAN Challenge, we collect the details on that form: their name, email and mobile, their child's first name and year level, and the centre they choose. These go to Success Tutoring and that centre only, so the centre can contact them about the Challenge by email, phone and text, as the form explains. The parent can opt out at any time. The quiz site does not keep a copy. Please don't ask a child to fill in this form.

Success Challenges (participating centres)

Students enrolled in a Success Challenge by a participating Success Tutoring centre will have a private account. A separate privacy notice covering that program, parent/guardian consent and data retention will be provided to families at enrolment before any student information is collected.
