About this Year 6 fractions quiz
This free Year 6 fractions quiz gives New Zealand students practice with the fraction ideas they need before moving on to decimals and percentages. Students find and simplify equivalent fractions, compare fractions with the same numerator, add fractions with the same denominator, change improper fractions into mixed numbers, and find fractions of amounts in money problems using New Zealand dollars. The final questions ask students to order fractions with different denominators and reason about what is left over.
