About this Year 4 grammar quiz
This free Year 4 grammar quiz helps students practise the language skills in the Australian Curriculum for Year 4 English. Students identify adverbs and prepositional phrases that add detail about when, where and how, choose the right pronoun, use irregular past tense verbs, and join clauses with conjunctions such as when, although and because. They also learn the difference between a main clause and a clause that cannot stand alone.
