The 6-Week NAPLAN Challenge
Build skills and confidence for NAPLAN with six weeks of structured practice, helpful feedback and weekly learning goals — guided by your local Success Tutoring centre.
What is the 6-Week NAPLAN Challenge?
It's a six-week learning program run by Success Tutoring centres for students in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9. Your child starts with a check of where they are now, then works through weekly goals in numeracy, reading and language conventions (spelling, grammar and punctuation), with writing preparation along the way.
Every activity gives feedback that teaches — not just a score — and your centre keeps an eye on progress each week. In week 6 your child shows what they've learned, and you receive a progress report.

What's included
A starting-point check
A diagnostic in week 1 shows strengths and what to work on first.
Weekly learning goals
Clear goals each week across numeracy, reading and language conventions.
Practice with feedback
NAPLAN-style questions with hints, explanations and worked solutions.
Writing preparation
Planning and structure for narrative and persuasive writing, with feedback from your centre.
Progress tracking
Your centre follows progress every week and helps where it's needed.
A report and certificate
A final check, a parent-friendly progress report and a certificate to celebrate.

Questions parents ask
Is this an official NAPLAN program?
No. The 6-Week NAPLAN Challenge is a Success Tutoring program using original practice material written in the style of NAPLAN. It is not produced or endorsed by ACARA, which runs NAPLAN.
Will it improve my child's NAPLAN result?
We can't promise any result. The Challenge is designed to build familiarity with the question styles, strengthen core skills and help your child feel more confident on the day.
Which year levels is it for?
Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 — the years that sit NAPLAN. Each year level has its own program, so a Year 3 student never gets Year 9 work.
How much does it cost?
Your local centre sets its own fees and will talk you through them. Nothing is paid on this website.
What happens to my details?
They go only to Success Tutoring and the centre you choose, so they can contact you about the Challenge. You can opt out at any time.
